Stalled in the Tunnel / Jack Houdini

For a long time now I've been saying that Declan's sleeping is going to get better, that we're getting close, that I see a light at the end of the tunnel. Well, I still see the light at the end of the tunnel, but we're not getting any closer to it - we're stalled. Oddly enough, I'm ok with it in the short run - helped by the fact that Declan is so adorable and lovey during the day. In the middle of the night (at approximately 12 am, 2:30 am, and 5 am) I'm still cursing and complaining, but I know that someday - someday - I will sleep again.

As for our Houdini.... he was up for awhile playing in his crib... or so we thought. Javier went up to take Jack out of his crib, stopped at the door because he couldn't believe how much noise Jack was making in his crib, went in and discovered Jack on the floor by his toy box, taking out all of his toys. Foiled!!! I'm actually relieved that Jack was able to crawl out well enough - and safely enough - that we didn't even hear him (we did have the montor on). We have no idea how he did it, but Jack did it without a crash, without a cry - nada. Later we're going to take him up and put him in his crib to see if he'll crawl out in front of us. Overall we think it's pretty hilarious.
